Pressure equipment CE certification mode <br /> Manufacturers must analyze and classify products in order to respond to different regulations of different pressure equipment by PED. Products can be categorized into five categories: PED Clause 3.3 (designed and manufactured in accordance with the sound engineering practices of Member States), and five categories from categories I to IV. The higher the risk, the higher the classification level and the stricter the regulations.
The conformity assessment procedure is applicable to equipment of categories I to IV.
