Garden machinery refers to chain saws, edge trimmers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, lawnmowers, high branches, leaf suction machines, lawn mowers, lawn trimmers, etc. used in gardening, garden construction, garden Maintenance machinery and equipment.
Garden machinery involves standards such as:
EN 786: 1996 + A2: 2009 Garden equipment-Electric walking mowers and grass trimmers.-Safety of machinery
EN ISO 11681-2: 2011 Garden Machinery-Portable Chainsaw Requirements and Tests-Part 2 Garden Chainsaws
EN 12733: 2001 + A1: 2010 Agricultural and forestry machinery. Foot-powered lawn mowers-Safety
EN 15503: 2009 Garden equipment-Garden blowers, vacuum cleaners and blowers or vacuum cleaners-Safety
EN ISO 11806: 2008 Agricultural and forestry machinery. Internal combustion engine-driven portable hand-held bush cutters and lawn mowers. Safety (ISO 11806: 1997)
Product testing precautions:
1 Whether the blades and rotating parts of the equipment are in safety protection.
2 Ensure that the protection covers all hazardous areas.
3 There must be a sufficient safety distance between the operating position and the working position.
4 The strength of the protective cover or shield ensures that there is no danger from splashes.
5 Machine noise during machine operation. In terms of machine safety, there are several points to note for different situations of the machine: Safety precautions before operating the machine:
1.1 Check whether the safety device is firm, whether the screws and nuts of each part are loose, and whether the fuel leaks. In particular, whether the mounting screws of the blade and the screws of the gear box are tight, and if they are loose, they should be tightened.
1.2 Check the work area for wires, stones, metal objects, and other debris that hinder operation.
1.3 Check the blade for nicks, cracks, bends, etc. If there is any abnormal noise, check if the blade is clamped properly.
1.4 When the load is empty, the throttle should be moved to the idle or small throttle position to prevent the phenomenon of overspeed. When working, the throttle should be large.
1.5 Do not start the engine indoors. For personnel safety precautions:
2.1 Operators must be trained and carefully read the instruction manual before the first use.
2.2 It is strictly forbidden to operate the machine after drinking, fatigue or sickness.
2.3 Wear work clothes and appropriate labor protection supplies, such as helmets, protective glasses, gloves, work shoes, etc., as required.
2.4 Do not smoke when using the machine or near the machine to prevent fire.
2.5 During maintenance and repairs, turn off the machine.
2.6 Irrelevant personnel at the operating point should be far away from 3m to prevent thrown blades and debris from being injured.
2.7 The safety device must be assembled securely before operation.
2.8 If a hard object such as a cracked stone, wire or the blade is hit, the machine should be shut down. Check whether the blade is damaged, and do not use it if there is any abnormality.
2.9 In order to prevent slipping in rainy days, do not perform operations; do not perform operations in severe weather such as windy or foggy weather.
2.10 When using for a long time, rest in the middle and check whether all parts are loose, especially the blade.
2.11 When the operation is interrupted or moved, the engine must be stopped first.
2.12 The engine should be turned off during machine transportation. When moving or storing the machine, there must be a protective device on the blade, and the blade must be moved forward when moving.
2.13 Only plastic ropes are allowed as cutting heads. It is strictly forbidden to replace plastic ropes with steel wires. About garden machinery repair and maintenance:
Garden machinery often needs to be disassembled and installed during maintenance. However, due to the many types and brands of garden machinery and different structures, if it is dismantled and installed hard, it is easy to cause damage to the machinery. Therefore, no matter when disassembling or installing, it must be strictly performed in accordance with regulations.
Disassembly according to the structure of the garden machinery, consider the operating procedures in advance to avoid upside down. Disassembly should be performed from the outside to the inside and from the top to the bottom. Special tools should be used during operation. It is prohibited to strike directly on the parts with a hammer. To find out the loosening direction of the parts, it is advisable to handle the precision parts carefully. For example, the long shaft parts of the screw rod must be lifted with ropes and wrapped with cloth to prevent bending deformation and damage. The removed parts should be placed on a wooden frame, a wooden box or a parts tray in order in accordance with the requirements, and must not be placed on the ground to prevent damage and corrosion. The removed parts should be put together as much as possible according to the original structure, such as shafts, gears, screws, gaskets, positioning pins, etc. For complete sets or parts that cannot be interchanged, mark them before disassembly and string them with ropes to avoid confusion, such as gear sets, valves and valve seats, tubing joints, etc., and the parts on the valve should be plugged in the original valve body. Parts that can still be used without repairs should not be dismantled and scattered, such as splines and gears, shafts and bearings. In order to facilitate the inspection of parts, the removed parts should be cleaned as necessary, and then coated with oil to prevent corrosion.
The installation should be in the order of inside to outside and from top to bottom when assembling garden machinery, so as not to affect the next process. Repeat important inspections of important and complex parts during operation to avoid incorrect or missing installation. Be careful not to allow dirt to enter the parts during installation. The installation process should also be checked item by item in strict accordance with technical requirements. After the machine is assembled, it must be adjusted and commissioned in time.
