Doors and windows
Applicable standards for doors and windows: EN 14351-1: 2006 + A1: 2010 – Windows and external pedestrian doorsets without resistance to fire and / or smoke leakage characteristic; EN 14351-1: 2006 + A1: 2010 – Windows without fire and smoke control characteristics And external walkway doors This European Standard identifies material independent performance characteristics that are applicable to windows (including roof windows, roof windows with external fire resistance and French windows), external pedestrian doorsets (including unframed glass doorsets, escape route doorsets) and screens.
This European Standard determines the different performance characteristics of various materials, applicable to windows (including skylights, skylights with external fire resistance, roof windows), external walkway doors (including frameless glass doors, escape passage doors) and screens.
EU officials have stipulated that, from February 1, 2010, all door and window products sold in the European market must be CE certified and affixed with the CE mark in accordance with EN 14351-1.
In general, the CE certification of door and window products must be operated by a designated notified body (Notified Body) with relevant qualifications recognized by the European Commission, in accordance with System 3. In order to more strictly regulate the CE certification of construction products, starting from July 1, 2013, the EU's Construction Product Regulation No.305 / 2011 / EU-CPR (referred to as CPR regulations) will completely replace the original construction products. The CE certification directive (Construction product directive 89/106 / EEC-CPD (CPD directive for short) has entered the compulsory implementation stage.

CE certification of construction hardware belongs to the CE certification of EU building materials. It needs to be tested and certified according to the latest CPR regulations for building materials. The CPR certification for building materials (305/2011 / EU-CPR) has been compulsory since July 2013. The types of building materials and hardware require corresponding standards for testing and certification.
